journal prompts for triggers

Hello beautiful soul!

The word triggers or feeling triggered is commonly used.

Everyone is constantly feeling triggered, and that is not a bad thing!

Triggers revealed what is ready to be healed.

The next time you feel triggered, take a deep breath and remember it’s just something inside yourself ready to come up.

Here’s some prompts for when you feel triggered:

What happened that made you feel triggered?

Was this the first time this happened? or is this a pattern?

Do you see where you are feeling those emotions in your own life?

If yes- how can you start to work through those emotions?

If no- think about your day to day life, how do you normally feel? what situations happen that trigger you? how do they make you feel? Take those emotions and ask yourself how would you rather feel?

Ask yourself, why you are really feeling triggered?

Are you happy with where you are?

Is there something you want to be doing more of?


Remember, Triggers are here FOR you.

It’s never really about the other person or the situation.

Everything is always happening for you.
